Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
